"Fallen Angels" (1993) – TV Series – Directed with a pulp novel/film noir flair by Steven Soderbergh, this episode of the Showtime cable series featured a same-sex riff on the genre convention of a hitman in love.

Twenty Bucks (1993) – Following the journey of a single twenty-dollar bill as the "buck is passed" from hand to hand, the ensemble cast for this film included Steve Buscemi, Christopher Lloyd, Elizabeth Shue, William H. Macy, Melora Walters and Spalding Gray.

School Ties (1992) – Working class quarterback David Greene comes to an exclusive boarding school, forcing his classmates to confront their unspoken anti-semitism. The film showcased a young (then) unheard of cast that included Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Chris O'Donnell.

Dogfight (1991) – In Nancy Savoca's Vietnam era coming of age drama, Brendan earned his stripes (and his SAG card), as "Sailor #1", with the immortal line: "How would you like to eat *&%$?"

Guilty Until Proven Innocent (1991) (TV) – Based on the real life drama of Bobby McLaughlin, a young man accused of murder who was freed from incarceration through the tireless work of his foster Father, played by Martin Sheen.

Son in Law (1993)(uncredited) – In the first of two cameo appearances, "Encino Man" Linkovitch Chomofsky briefly returns as a rubber frog-biting buddy of Pauly Shore in this weasel-out-of-water comedy.

Younger and Younger (1993) – Winston Younger Jr. struggles to hold the family mini-storage company together amidst the death of his mother and the increasingly vivid delusions of his womanizing father. Percy Adlon's American follow-up to "Baghdad Café" co-starred Donald Sutherland, Julie Delpy, Lolita Davidovitch and Linda Hunt.

Encino Man (1992) – When a frozen caveman is accidentally revived in an earthquake, he is befriended by two outcast teens who see their new friend, "Linkovitch Chomofsky" as a way to finally achieve popularity and "weeze the juice".
My Old School (1991)(TV) – Brendan's first paying job in Hollywood. A 1970's college "Wonder Years"-esque pilot produced by Castle Rock for CBS that was never picked up. Brendan wore bell bottoms and way groovy hair. Unfortunately, no photographic record exists.

"I needed the cash to pay off real life college loans, and my Mom, for the maroon '86 Chevy Spectrum."—BF

Child of Darkness, Child of Light (1991) (TV) – Brendan makes his first on-screen appearance in the non-speaking role of "John's Friend."

"A film I have never seen. Is it any good? And who is John? I recall that I was wearing a Lacrosse Helmet."—BF
